Graduate & Postdoctoral Writing Center
The Graduate & Postdoctoral Writing Center is a new resource for graduate students, coming October 1, 2023.
The Graduate and Postdoctoral Writing Center (GPWC) is the result of a collaboration between the Graduate School, The Writing Resource Center, and the Division of Research at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The GPWC is especially grateful to the Division of Research, which has provided significant funding for this effort.
The Graduate and Postdoctoral Writing Center (GPWC) will offer a range of writing support to graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. Services will include writing groups, writing presentations, writing retreats, and, most importantly, individual writing consultations. Beginning October 1, 2023, both in-person and virtual consultations will be available with the GPWC’s Doctoral Writing Fellows, who can provide feedback on class assignments, theses, dissertations, and other academic genres. Additionally, a Faculty Fellow, who will focus on grant writing skills, will join the GPWC in Spring 2024 and provide support on all aspects of the grant-writing process.

The Graduate & Postdoctoral Writing Center (GPWC) works to further promote a healthy and vibrant writing culture at UNC Charlotte by providing a variety of writing services and support for all graduate students and postdoctoral scholars.
